The vacuum is just a minor irritation for me. The doorbell is what really gets my fur in a knot. Then if they have workers in the house disrupting my peace and quiet...ooh boy! I have better places to spend my time than under the bed. Why can't they just leave the house as it is? Sheesh! >^..^<
There is always the north or south wing of the house. Better yet how about one of the garages? Yeah, the cooler temperature one. Sorry Sonny, but I am one of those people that like to vacuum. You should see the FUR that is tied up in knots. Poor vacuum, and poor you. MEOW...
