So, one of my people is a hunter of feathered things.
Doves, band-tailed pigeons, pheasants, ducks, and geese - stuff like that. This is sort of the start of the hunting season.
I am not interested really in these carcasses. They don't move like the hummingbirds that taunt me through the window.
This is a classic photo!!! Loving it. Maybe Sonny could use squirrels or a rat or two? Let me know. Were the birds cooked and put over rice or into the freezer? Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteThe birds have been accumulating (in the freezer) over the short 2 week band-tailed pigeon season. Tomorrow is the last day, and he will go out in hopes of 2 more birds (that is the legal limit). We will then take all of the birds for a feast!
